A Good Technique is a decent approximation. Action has to be without any hesitation. A flash. A good technique aids in getting there but not turn out to be an impurity in an otherwise clear flow of Qi. Behind the Qi is the unassailable intention of the spirit. Anger, lust, desire are impurities. To a Master even these impurities are useful in inciting the spirit of an aspirant when sparingly used. Have you seen how a sword is sharpened? Finer the edge finer the gravel to shave it. But then once sharpened the sword is put to its use, not venerated in a shrine. It too has to dance to the whims of the spirit.
